OPEN large cans buttermilk biscuits [8 BISCUITS per can, such as Phillsbury Grands]
Cut out center of each uncooked biscuit with a 1-inch
Pour peanut oil into a large Dutch oven or large, heavy saucepan to a depth of 2 inches. Warm over medium heat until oil registers 350 F on a deep-fry thermometer or bubbles vigorously when a doughnut is lowered in.
Fry doughnuts and holes in batches [don’t crowed pan] until golden, flipping once. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels using a slotted spoon. Dip doughnuts in glaze and top as desired while warm. don’t let the temperature rise above 350 F. They cook in seconds.
CHOCOLATE COVERD CHERRY
2 oz. Cherry brandy
1oz. Dark crème de cacao
Dash Chocolate syrup
2 Scoops Vanilla ice cream
In a blender combine; Brandy, cream de cacao, and ice cream.
Garnish with whip cream, syrup, and cherries
